Hello,
This page is to show to the rest of the world what we are doing for the traditional buddhism in Italy. For now i planned to show just the projects so i won´t be opening new posts (i will modify this one). In the future, if the request is of a consistent number of active users, we can consider to open a new section of our forum http://buddhismoitalia.forumcommunity.net/ for translations projects from english to italian. These would include subbing english teaching in italian and show them through our network in Youtube and translate texts.

Project “Index Buddhist Centres and Groups in Italy”

The centres and groups does not include Lama Gangchen centres, New Kadampa/Dolgyal and Soka Gakkai but it does include traditional Nichiren schools like: Nichiren Shu and Nipponzan Myohoji http://buddhismoitalia.forumcommunity.net/?t=22215410

Project “Bridge”=Ponte

The economic crise strike also our buddhist groups and centres scattered in Italy. So we want to promote them by creating signatures, banners or, if they don´t have a page, blogs for they´re programs and events. We want also to provide practicioners to which people can ask questions about programs in specifics area/centers of Italy. Project “Social Network”

create internet social networks that are multiplatform/functions and group based. This project will also provide new tools for “Buddhismo Italia” so we can use, for example, videos on youtube and do microfon meetings on skype.

Project “intercultural meetings”

create events that connect people from different buddhist groups so that they can develop an opened view of, for example, the history of buddhism even maintaining they´re traditions. Project “website of the Italian Buddhist Union (U.B.I. Unione Buddhista Italiana associated to the European Buddhist Union)”

Give a place to people to express they´re opinions about the U.B.I. website. Every motivated and interesting suggestion will be then sent to the adviser director of the U.B.I.
